How we use AI
Front Seat Human uses AI in three places, and labels each one.
- The newsroom drafts factual stories from sources a person can open. Every claim carries a source. A check flags sentences that do not. Alexis McCurdy verifies and approves before anything is public.
- Tessica writes opinion only. The column wears a full-width AI-generated opinion label. She does not write the news, and she cannot publish.
- The podcast uses an ElevenLabs voice for Tessica. The episode says so in the first moments, in the transcript, and on the page.
Nothing on the site or in The Briefing goes out without Alexis McCurdy's approval, unless she turns on auto-approve in the desk. That switch is off.
